End Of The Year Production Information



We will be having two productions: 12:00 & 6:00. Both will be held on Sunday, June 24, 2018.  The production will take place at Wilkins Theatre @ Kean University, Union, NJ. We cannot guarantee that all of your child’s performances will be in one production.  Students must perform in the finale and both productions if scheduled to do so.  If a student misses eight or more classes during the school year, they may not be allowed to perform in the production no refunds will be issued.

REHEARSALS: Because our shows are kept professional, it requires stage rehearsals.  The main purpose of these rehearsals is to acquaint your child with their place on the stage and to work with other groups smoothly. Stage Rehearsals will be held at the Wilkins Theatre on Thursday, June 21, 2018 for the 12:00 Show & Friday, June 22, 2018 for the 6:00 show. Students need to arrive by 4:00pm. Rehearsals run until approximately 9:30pm. Parents are to stay at the stage rehearsal. Students are to wear their leotard and tights for these rehearsals, No Costumes.  All Rehearsals Are Mandatory. Student will be immediately dismissed from production with no refund of Costumes, Tickets, Tuition, Etc. if any part of the rehearsals are missed.

TICKETS: A minimum of 4 tickets must be purchased. All Tickets are reserved and will be on sale starting Sunday, May 6, 2018 through June 24, 2018, which is the day of the show; no tickets will be sold during any rehearsals.  Your minimum of four tickets must be purchased by MAY 31, 2018, but you may purchase more to qualify for the ticket contest (ticket contest ends May 31, 2018). Tickets are on a first come first serve basis. Only the account holder can purchase the initial 4 tickets. Should tickets sell out you will only be able to purchase your minimum of 4. The price of tickets are $26.00 each (CASH ONLY). Seating arrangements are chosen upon ticket purchase at the studio.  Tickets must be paid in full before they leave the studio. Tickets cannot be purchased unless all outstanding balances are paid.  Sale of tickets are final! No Refunds or Exchanges on tickets, everyone needs a ticket regardless of age, even infants.  We do not hold any tickets without full payment.  If your child is scheduled to perform in both productions, you will receive one complimentary ticket for the 6:00 show.

PICTURES & VIDEOS: Pictures and Videotaping are not permitted. Videotaped copies of the performance will be available for sale.  Price per video will be included in your ticket packet.

COSTUMES:  Prices range from $60.00 – $90.00 per costume. The Costume Deposit is due on or before October 28, 2017 the balance is due on or before December 2, 2017. All Payments must be made in Cash Only.  Costume bills will be mailed to your home stating the exact price before hand. (Prices do not include tights or shoes) The statement will show any payments made towards costumes and all balances due.  There are no Refunds on Costumes; Exchanges are at the discretion of the teacher and Director. Please keep in mind alterations of costumes may be necessary and will be the parent’s responsibility. Costumes need to be brought in completely assembled with accessories for the dress rehearsal that is held during their class, dates will be on the costume checklist that is given out when you receive your costumes.  All Costumes need to be approved by the teacher or director.

PRODUCTION DANCEWEAR: Tights and shoes are not included in your costume bill. To ensure that there are no discrepancies in color and style, all dancewear needed, will be ordered for you through Just Dancin. Full payment is due in March; exact date to be announced (CASH ONLY). Exchanges are at the discretion of the teacher. No underwear is to be worn under the tights.

HAIR & MAKEUP: Hair must be all back in a plain bun with no parts, braids or bangs (unless otherwise stated on your costume checklist). Hair elastics and bobby pins need to blend in with hair color. All students need to have on pink or purple eyeshadow, pink blush, pink or red lipstick.  Mascara and eyeliner should be applied on older students. Hair and Makeup can be done at home. If Hair and Makeup is not as stated student will not be allowed to perform in the production, when performing in a group all dancers must look alike.

JEWELRY & NAIL POLISH: Absolutely no wearing of any kind of jewelry or nail polish is allowed.  If a student is wearing jewelry or nail polish on the day of the production they will be asked to take it off. We will not be responsible for any lost or stolen jewelry.
